Cradle Cap Oil

Does your baby suffer from cradle cap? Sometimes those yellow, flakey spots can be ruthless and take awhile to break up and go away. Our cradle cap oil is the perfect blend of herbs to massage on your baby's scalp to help soothe, nourish, and moisturize.   

What is Cradle Cap? It's a build up of yeast caused by an excess of oil built on the scalp. Most babies are born with it, some cases are more severe than others, but will subside with treatment during the first year of a baby's life.

Plantain - This herb is a great anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. It also contains allantoin, which stimulates cell growth and hastens healing. Plantain helps to moisturize the scalp along with soothing itchiness. 

Nettle - This is a great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant these properties can help promote a healthy scalp.

Elder - Elder is a mildly astringent that helps soothe a dry and irritated scalp.

Chamomile and Calendula - Both are  great anti-inflammatories that eliminate buildup and soothe a dry scalp whilst promoting healthy hair growth.

Organic Ingredients: Plantain, Nettle, Elder, Chamomile, Calendula, and Olive OIl

Directions:

• Apply 2-5 drops of oil on baby's head and massage into scalp 20 minutes before bath time.
• Wash baby's hair with a gentle cleansing shampoo while using a silicone brush to help loosen and break up the flakes.
• Be sure to wash all of the oil out of the baby's hair.
• Repeat this process every bath time until the cradle cap has cleared.
